Vacation Rental Description

Renovated, sophisticated one-bedroom pre-war apartment in up-scale, 
historic residential neighborhood near Central Park West. Fully 
furnished with double bed in bedroom, and double sleeper in living 
room.  New kitchen and bathroom. TV/VCR, phone can accommodate 
internet dial-up, A/C, dishwasher, combo washer/dryer, all kitchen 
equipment, towels and linens. Porta-crib available.
No smoking, no pets.  A second furnished one bedroom apartment is also
available for short term rental.  Very chic and modern New York, this 
apartment sleeps 2 in one queen-size bed.  There is a single bed in
the living room.  A comfortable chaise lounge in the living room will
accommodate a child.  Photos of this apartment (2C) are on this page.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Apartment is close to major subway and bus lines, near the beautiful 
northern end of Central Park.  On-street parking is usually 
available. Easy access to taxis, one minute from a door-to-door 
limousine service.  Near Columbia University, Cathedral of St. John 
the Divine, and just across the park from Museum Mile.
Please note:  There are also 2, 3-bedroom duplex vacation rental
apartments available in the same building. These apartments sleep 4-7
people.
In addition, 5 vacation rental studio apartments are available in the
building next door.  These studios sleep 1-2 people.

Activities and Attractions

This charming apartment, in perfect condition, is a great jumping off 
point for everything the city offers.  Neighborhood spots and big 
city activities are within easy walking and subway distance. Perfect 
apartment to serve as a base for bike riding (easy access to 
outside), birding in Central Park, or just "living like a New Yorker."

Vacation Rental Rates

$225/night, plus a $40 cleaning fee.  4 night minimum.   Porto-crib
available. 
Higher rates may apply on holiday weekends.
50% deposit required at time of reservation in the form of bank 
check or personal check (subject to clearing). Wire transfers in pound
sterling or euros accepted. Balance due on day of 
arrival, paid by cash or travelers checks, US dollars.
15% cancellation fee if canceled up to 10 days prior to arrival date. 
Full forfeiture of deposit if canceled less than 10 days prior to 
arrival date.
Both the one bedroom apartment and a 3-bedroom, at the same 
location, are available for short term furnished rental.
