This cozy log cabin surrounds you with peace and the feeling of "coming home" from the moment you
arrive. Whether it's morning coffee on the porch, savoring the lingering sunset over the mountains
from the deck, enjoying the beach on a sunny summer day, lunch on the screened in porch, or cuddling
in front of the fire on a winter's eve, you are encouraged to breathe, sigh, and relax in this
natural setting in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Perhaps the windowseat will beckon
you to indulge in a good book or a well-deserved nap.

Springtime brings the cabin's great show of azaleas and dogwoods. Share the deck during the summer
with the hummingbirds during the day and fireflies at night. The variety of trees provides a
colorful autumn. Winter views are majestic.
Located in a scenic gated community, you have use of its amenities just a 5 minutes drive from the
cabin: Mirror Lake (a lovely private lake with swimming beach), a covered picnic pavillion, easy
access to the Broad River for fishing, swimming, or adventuring, and a scenic picnic area along the
river with a pretty waterfall.
The cabin is lovingly furnished with a mix of antiques and rustic pieces. The
kitchen/great room has cathedral ceiling, skylights, fireplace and ceiling fans.
Accommodations provide two bedrooms (one king; one queen), double futon in the great room, a
rollaway bed, and two full baths with all linens provided.
