Vacation Rental Description

Classic Venice Beach Vacation Home with In-Home Spa & Guest Studio.

Estrella del Mar (Star of the Sea) is a classic 1920s Southern
California bungalow on a quiet, tree-lined street near the world
famous Venice Beach boardwalk, trendy shops, great restaurants, the
Marina del Rey harbor, and Santa Monica pier and 3rd Street Promenade.
 
The 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath main residence has been enlarged and remodeled
with a modern kitchen, refinished hardwood floors, skylights, media 
room, fireplace, new furniture and new, high-quality beds. Safety 
features include "child-proofing" and APT security system.

In the alcove off the living room is a day bed that can be used as a
twin for sleeping. The two bedrooms on the main floor each have a
comfortable queen size bed. The upstairs bedroom has two extra long
twin beds that can be made up as on king bed. Altogether, the main
residence sleeps 7 comfortably. 

Estrella del Mar also has a comfortable studio behind the main
residence with one queen bed, half bath, wet bar, cable TV, and patio.
The studio sleeps two and is included in the weekly rate. 

After a day at the beach, you can enjoy the indoor serenity pool with
waterfall and steam shower. 

Estrella del Mar retains the charm and tranquility of an earlier era
but with all the modern conveniences and amenities. The furniture
reflects the upscale, casual and comfortable style of the home. 

Two garden patios give you the choice of lounging in the morning sun,
enjoying the comfort of the afternoon shade, or barbequing fresh fish
in the evening.

Some Things to See and Do within a Few Minutes from Estrella del Mar

Estrella del Mar is only a few blocks to the beach as well as shopping
and restaurants on trendy Abbot Kenny Boulevard and fashionable Main
Street in Santa Monica. 

South: One mile to affluent Marina del Rey for a sunset cocktail
cruise, boat rentals, a half-day sport fishing adventure, some
whale-watching excitement, or a 45 minute voyage to picturesque 
Santa Catalina Island. Five miles to LAX. 

North: Three miles to the amusements on the Santa Monica pier and the
hip 3rd Street Promenade.
