Vacation Rental DescriptionGulf Splendor I is conveniently located 1 mile West of San Destin
Resorts and 12 miles East of Destin Harbor. Within a one mile drive
or walk, you have at your convenience grocery stores, pharmacies,
restaurants and banks. For shopping and entertainment, the Silver
Sands Factory Outlet Mall, the Destin Commons Mall and beautiful
Baytowne Wharf are located nearby.
Gulf Splendor I is located directly on the beach and features:

Vacation Rental AmenitiesFamily Room - Relax in this comfortable room with breathtaking gulf
views. Walk out on to the large front porch and breathe in the gulf
breezes while viewing spectacular sunsets (from Oct - Mar) and
dolphins swimming by. Has a pullout queen sofa for extra sleeping
room.
Master Suite - Occupying the entire top level, this beautifully
decorated room has incomparable gulf views with two full baths,
sitting area, wet bar, fireplace and futon with pull-out bed. Gaze
out across the Gulf while lying in the comfortable king bed or
relaxing on your private deck.
Gulf East - This bedroom has spectacular views of the gulf and
beaches to the East with a queen bed, private bath and walkout access
to the third level deck.
Gulf West - With king bed and private bath, this beautifully
decorated bedroom enjoys the same incredible gulf views and beaches
to the West with walkout access to the third level deck.
Queen Room This small room with a privacy curtain has a very
comfortable queen bed and is located on the same level as Gulf East
and Gulf West. The half bath from the family room is just down the
stairs from this room. This room is also equiped with a flat panel
TV with built-in DVD player.
Elevator - The passenger elevator makes the entire home accessible
for everyone.
Jacuzzi - The jacuzzi is located on the ground level, gulf side with
views of the gulf.
Activities and AttractionsTens of thousands of years ago, quartz crystals were carried by
glacial rivers from the Appalachian Mountains to the Gulf of Mexico
in northwest Florida. These tiny clear crystals now form a blanket of
pure white sugar sand making these beaches among the highest rated in
the world. While the pure white sands and emerald waters lure people
to its shores, Destin offers so much more!
Golf - Destin has become the major golf destination in Northwest
Florida. There are several courses within 3 miles of Gulf Splendor
and over 1,000 holes in the greater Destin area.
Fishing - With over 100 private charters, Destin boasts some of the
best fishing in the gulf region. Take half or full day charters for
Mahi Mahi, Grouper, Red Snapper, Trigger Fish, Amberjack, Cobia and
many others. Drop your catch off at one of the harbor restaurants and
come back that evening for a delicious meal. Try your luck at the
52nd annual Fishing Rodeo during the month of October, 2005.
Shopping From quaint little boutiques to factory outlet malls,
Destin has unlimited shopping options. The Silver Sands Factory
outlet mall is located within 1 mile of Gulf Splendor. Destin
Commons, the brand new shopping and entertainment complex is only 4
miles away. Within 2 miles, beautiful Baytowne Wharf offers many
shopping and entertainment options.
Restaurants Walk up the beach to the Whales Tail, our favorite
breakfast place, or check out any of many restaurants for all price
ranges within 1 to 5 miles.
Take the kids towards downtown Destin and Okaloosa Island to get to
the Big Kahuna Water Park, the Gulfarium and many other family
entertainment options.
Take a laidback scenic drive East along route 30-A to quaint little
beach towns such as Grayton Beach, Watercolor, Seaside, Seagrove and
Rosemary Beach.
