Vacation Rental Description

It's time to kick off your shoes, relax and get away from everyday. 
And The Pelican's Elbow in Destin is the vacation home to help you 
do just that. It has everything you need for that relaxing week at 
the seashore, including a large private swimming pool and patio - 
great for morning coffee instead of a morning commute. 

Don’t be crammed into a cramped condo. This beautiful home with its 
nautical décor is perfect for large families or groups. You have 
room to stretch out – 2020 sq. feet (largest floor plan in the 
neighborhood) -- with large living/dining room, four bedrooms and 
two baths, full kitchen, and a spacious family room.  All bedrooms 
and baths are on a single floor - no stairs to deal with.

The spacious Master bedroom features a king size bed, TV/VCR/DVD, a 
private bath with soaker tub and shower and a huge closet. The 
Kahuna and Palm Bedrooms both have queen beds, TV/VCR and alarm 
clocks just in case you don't want to sleep in. The Twin bedroom 
features two twin beds and TV/VCR. All bedrooms have a ceiling fan. 
There are queen sleeper sofas in separate living and family rooms.

The large back yard is fenced for privacy and security and features 
a patio, large gas grill, and a large swimming pool with tropical 
landscaping.

The white-sugar-sand beach is a short stroll away and dining, 
shopping and amusements are close at hand. You can swim with 
dolphins, cruise the Gulf, parasail, kayak or partake in any of 
dozens of other nearby activities.

At the end of a great day in the sun, you can enjoy the family room 
with high-definition TV/VCR/DVD and selection of books, videos and 
family games. Free high-speed wireless Internet is provided.

Kick back, soak up some sun and work on your tan (or lounge in the 
shade) and enjoy life at the Pelican's Elbow.

Activities and Attractions

Destin features a wide array of water-oriented activities, including 
beautiful white-sand beaches, surfing, sailing, parasailing, 
snorkeling/scuba diving, pontoon boat rentals, windsurfing, 
kayaking, jet skiing, sightseeing/dinner/dolphin watching cruises, 
and shelling. You can even swim with the dolphins in the open ocean. 
The shopping is great, with the largest Designer Outlet Mall in the 
US just 3 miles from the home.

Other activities include hiking/walking (Gulf-front state parks 
nearby), biking, miniature golf, fitness center/gym, tennis, 
wildlife viewing, horseback riding, amusement parks, museums, zoo, 
restaurants, cinemas and scooter & electric vehicle rentals.

The Destin area is home to a dozen fine golf courses, available to 
the public. There are nearby state forests with biking trails and 
bike, kayak and canoe rentals. And Destin is close to deep water, 
boasting a large fleet of charter fishing boats and day boats for 
the finest in deep-sea fishing.

Vacation Rental Rates

Spring Break    Feb 27-Apr 16  $1775/week, $260/nite, 6-nite min. 

Responsible student groups accepted.  Families, ask about our spring break family discount.

Spring             Apr 16-May 14  $1375/week, $205/nite, 3-nite min.

Early Summer  May 15-Jul 3 $2275/week, full week only

Not presently taking reservations after July 3.

Rates are for up to 8 people. The home will sleep up to 12, so add 
$50/week ($10/night) per additional person over age 2. 

We rent to responsible student groups with a $750 security deposit and $90 cleaning fee.

A cleaning fee of $90 will be charged for rentals of less than a full week.

Half of rent is due upfront to secure reservation. The remainder of 
the rent, plus 11.5% FL tax, and a $500 security deposit (plus $250 if 
use of golf cart is desired)are due 30 days prior to scheduled 
arrival.  Security deposit will be refunded 2-3 days after checkout 
if home is left in the condition it was found and all rental 
policies are followed. 

All reservations during peak season are from Saturday (4 pm check-
in) to Saturday (10 am check-out).

card.
