Malibu Vacation Rentals Area Information
Malibu is a city of Los Angeles in the Santa Monica in California. Malibu has Pacific Ocean. The main attractions of the city are the beaches like the Zuma beach, Malibu State Beach, Surf rider Beach and the Topanga State Beach. Malibu was established by the Chumash Native Americans.Out of the four beaches Zuma Beach is the most famous because of the sand and the surfing done in the Pacific Ocean. Zuma is known for the activities it offers to the people besides being the neatest and the cleanest Beaches. The activities are the surfing, Wind surfing, fishing, Diving, Body Surfing, Body boarding, Kite Boarding etc. The diving is the best out of these as you can discover the shallow deep waters and the marine life below it. The Paradise Cove Beach is an area where most pf the celebrities stay as it is a private beach where movie shoots take place.
Malibu has many parks such as Malibu Creek State Park, it is also known as the Gillette Ranch as the construction in the park is done by the razor manufacturer Gillette. In the vicinity you can see mountain lions, bobcats, deer and eagles. Leo Carrillo State Park, Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, Point Mugu State Park and the Malibu Bluffs Park are the magnificent parks of the Malibu. The Malibu Bluffs Park consists of baseball and soccer fields.
The Adamson House was built in 1930. The house was built with extraordinary Spanish works. It has ceramic works and Malibu pottery. There is the J. Paul Getty Museum has a collection of art having Greek and Roman antiques, French décor and Renaissance and Baroque Paintings. The two other museums in the vicinity are the Donald Douglas Museum and Library and the George Westmore Research Library and Museum and the Ronald Reagen Presidential Library and Museum.
Malibu is also the home of the Shrine Lake which reminds you of the calmness and peacefulness required in life. The Malibu Lagoon State Beach is another sight worth a visit having exotic wetlands and beautiful flora. The Malibu Pier is made on this Beach and this is a spot for the fishers to dive into doing fishing. The surf rider Beach as the name suggest meant for surfing, a spot where you can find all the amazing and excellent surfers. This beach is also for people who want to tan themselves in the sun.
